a little update

As many of you know, we lost our kitchen space (our kitchen was separate from Forage) this past summer.

While we haven’t found a new space yet, we have an exciting new vision to share.

We want to restructure our model as a non-profit, and share our profits with inspiring, well-vetted, grassroots food-related organizations. Of course, we will continue to offer our exceptional produce boxes and coordinated menus, but we will also be supporting the important work of local organizations, and serving a broader community.

And we need your help!

To move forward, we need a location where we can create our community space: a distribution point for weekly Farm to Curb groceries, a production kitchen, and an area for people to gather.

Imagine a Farm to Curb hub where you can pick up the weekly bounty, attend cooking classes & community meals, and host private parties catered by Mel!

We began Farm to Curb at the start of the pandemic with a simple mission; with restaurants closed, we wanted to support the farmers we knew and loved by buying their produce and distributing it to our friends. Created in a moment of need, this labor of love has become so much more, thanks to all of your ongoing support.

So we now invite you to join us in this next phase of turning Farm to Curb into a social good enterprise! We’re developing our nonprofit model and vetting local organizations that we want to support. And we’ll be sharing details about upcoming fundraiser dinners soon.

Please email us at farmtocurb@gmail.com if you are interested in becoming involved or have any leads on a potential space.
We can’t wait to feed our community once again!
